Step 1 of 5

Step 1: Materials
Gather the materials needed for this project:
• 1/3 cup Chia Seeds
• 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
• 1/3 cup Honey
• 1 cup Oats
• 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
• 1/3 cup Shredded Coconut
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla
Note
• This recipe makes for about 12 energy balls!
• Use whatever your pantry provides - swap chia seeds with hemp seeds if you have them.
• Coconut can be a polarizing ingredient - if you're not a fan, just skip it all together! Your energy balls will be delicious either way.
Step 2 of 5

Step 2: Toast Your Coconut
• In a pan on medium heat, toast up your coconut until it turns to a light golden brown.
• You can also toast it in the oven (spread on a pan and bake at 325° for 5 mins) or microwave for 30 second increments.
Step 3 of 5

Step 3: Mix
• Add all your ingredients to a bowl and mix, mix, mix!
• Combine:
- 1/3 cup Chia Seeds
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1 cup Oats
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Shredded Coconut
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
Note
If your mixture seems too dry, add increments of 1 teaspoon of water.
Step 4 of 5

Step 4: Chill
• Once everything has come together, cover your bowl and pop it in the fridge for a minimum of 20 minutes to chill.
Step 5 of 5

Step 5: Form Balls & Enjoy!
• Now that the mixture has chilled, take about a tablespoon worth and form into little, tightly packed balls.
• Enjoy immediately or store your energy balls in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer - for on the go healthy snacks!
