Step 1: Ingredients
Gather the ingredients needed for this recipe:
• Cookie Sheet
• Decorating Icing (Black, White and Any Other Colors You Like)
• Round Sprinkles
• Small Knife
• Sugar Cookies

Substitutions
• We bought pre-made (delicious) sugar cookies from the bakery in our grocery store. You can make them fresh, buy pre-made dough, or grab some that are already done.
Step 2 of 4
Frost the Sugar Cookies
• Lay your sugar cookies on the cookie sheet for easy clean up.
• Spread black frosting all over your cookies in an even layer representing the night sky.
Step 3 of 4
Step 3: Now for the Planets
• With your decorating icing, make planets, stars, moons, constellations, milky way, and any other figures you might see in the sky.
Note
• If your colored decorating icing doesn't show up nicely on the black frosting, make your design in white first - then add your color on top!
• Wonder who's going to be 1st to make an alien?
Step 4 of 4
Step 4: Add Sprinkles
• Sprinkle your stars all over the sugar cookie scene.
• Stargazing has never been so delicious! Enjoy!
Note
Snap a picture of your smile after eating one of these babies! It is sure to be as dark as the night sky. (Don't worry - nothing a little toothpaste won't fix!)
